Theoretical Knowledge Instructor

1. Bachelor’s degree in aviation related field or equivalent.
2. At least 5 years of teaching experience in ATPL level or equivalent military aviation related subjects.
3. Possess relevant flight ops knowledge gained through pilot, flight engineer, dispatch, flight navigator qualification and experience or relevant military experience.
4. Have undergone an initial course of instruction on Methods of Instruction/Train the Trainer of at least 30 hrs. duration.
5. Competent to deliver a minimum of three of the ATPL subjects.
6. Should, before appointment, prove their competency by giving a demonstration lecture based on material they have developed for the subjects they are to teach.
7. Should be able to take on the responsibilities of SME of at least 2 ATPL subjects within 2 years of instructional duties in PTD QAA.
8. Holder of CPL/ATPL license or a certificate of having passed the ATPL Theoretical Knowledge subjects will be an added advantage.
9. Experience in MPL training would be an added advantage.
10. Excellent organization, communication, computer operations, leadership and team building skills are required.
